	Description Inserted in a VME-bus Rack as a Master or a Slave board, to manage the ARCnet deterministic LAN, allows the whole Plant to exchange data without any load for the CPUs of the Process Control.

Notes:	The board executes the job to communicate and manage data transmission and allocation, avoiding that the Host CPU wastes time & power in low level (but high speed and many data) tasks. 1 or more μP and RealTime Firmware have been used. Insulated or optoinsulated signals allow communication between not electrical-compatible systems and longer distances. New Fiber Optic communication media have been used, to improve reliability and decrease attenuation.
